Followed these guys in Instagram a while back and have been meaning to head down to Bristol to try it out - all I can say is I glad I did! The restaurant caters for quick eats with some seating both inside and outside on the first floor deck. I had some questions about my order - I tend to get excited with food - the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was awesome and for me really good value in a space where these types of establishments can over charge for food like this. The portions were very generous and the halloumi was next level! The meat skewers were tender and flavoursome, whilst the oregano fries were also a welcomed addition. I washed it down with a wonderful Greek lemonade style drink and enjoyed an al fresco dining experience. Been back a few times since my first trip and implore you to try this place out if you love Greek food.
Fantastic food! I bought the halloumi box with tzatziki as a takeaway after a long work shift, and it was brilliant. Really big portion size that filled me up, and the food was delicious - I will be ordering again!
Really friendly, helpful staff and great tasting food. I have visited a few times in the last few years and always had a wonderful experience. The husband and I had a blast.

Amazinggg vegan options they are all so tasty loved all of it! The salad is fresh and crunchy, the chips are delicious and the athenian sauce is my fave sauce ever love it so much! Great sized portions for the price very good value for money, can't wait to come back!
The Bristol Athenian team are always great and helpful when it comes to ordering, which works well for anyone like myself who can't decide and have a genuine love for food (there's a decent variety available; meat/veg/gluten free) There are some seats inside/outside, so if you felt like taking a lil break you can do. Doesn't take the team very long to prepare, I've visited twice now and it works out to be around 10mins. The Athenian is ideal if you're looking for an alternative takeaway, great flavours, great food, great team.
